Vision International College of Management and Technology maintains a comprehensive set of rules and regulations designed to foster academic integrity, safety, and disciplinary standards. Adherence to these guidelines ensures a respectful and productive environment for all members of the college community.
1. Attendance Policy
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each course to be eligible for end-semester examinations.
Attendance is monitored through biometric and manual registers. Shortfall letters are issued to students falling below 80% attendance, and serious shortfalls (below 75%) may result in denial of examination registration.
2. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to uphold the highest standards of honesty, courtesy, and respect.
Ragging, harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct is strictly prohibited and punishable under the UGC Anti-Ragging Regulations and college disciplinary procedures.
Use of mobile phones during lectures, examinations, and official events is restricted.
3. Examination Regulations
Examinations are conducted in accordance with GJUS&T guidelines. Students must arrive at exam venues at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Any form of malpractice—such as cheating, impersonation, or bringing unauthorized materials—will result in disciplinary action, which may include expulsion from exams or the college.
4. Grievance Redressal
The college has a Grievance Redressal Cell that addresses academic, administrative, and harassment complaints. Students can submit written grievances to the Principal or designated coordinator, who will facilitate timely resolution.
5. Campus Etiquette
Students are required to dress in dignified, semi-formal attire. Specific program events may mandate formal business attire or uniforms provided by the college.
Campus infrastructure must be respected; any vandalism or damage to property will incur penalties and restoration costs.
6. Library and Laboratory Usage
Library books may be borrowed for a maximum of 14 days and must be renewed or returned on time. Overdue fines apply as per library policy.
Laboratories require prior booking, and equipment must be handled responsibly. Any breakages must be reported immediately and may attract liability for replacement or repair costs.
7. Leave Application
Medical and emergency leaves must be sanctioned by class advisors. Leave applications should be submitted at least two days in advance for planned absences; retrospective approvals require valid medical certificates.
8. Disciplinary Action
The college reserves the right to suspend or expel students for serious violations of rules or UGC/AICTE regulations. A disciplinary committee evaluates each case impartially.
By abiding by these rules and regulations, students contribute to a safe, respectful, and academically enriching environment. Detailed guidelines are available in the Student Handbook, issued at the start of the academic session.
